Simon Jones wrote a new blog post: Gamer Limit Review: Who’s That Flying?! 1 year, 2 months ago
It’s that time of year again when most gamers are spending their hard-earned cash on Christmas presents rather than full-priced titles. But while you may not be able to splurge on all the latest AAA releases this month, at least you can rest easy in the knowledge that there are plenty of Mini and indie [...] -
Simon Jones commented on the blog post Gamer Limit Review: Fable III 1 year, 3 months ago
Better than Fable II but nowhere near as entertaining as the original. The linearity is pretty frustrating, and even when you are given side quests they are ridiculously samey and boring. Still, like Chris said, the final couple of hours of the game were entertaining, but I definitely won’t be playing it through a second [...]

Simon Jones commented on the blog post Gamer Limit Review: Fallout: New Vegas 1 year, 3 months ago
I must say that I wasn’t too entranced by Fallout 3. New Vegas, however, has kept me glued to my PC for almost a week. Maybe not the most polished, but definitely one of the most addictive games I’ve played all year. Definitely a must-buy for any FPS/RPG fan.

Nice review, Kevin. Disappointing that this isn’t able to compete with the Tiger Woods franchise. Think I’ll pass.

Simon Jones wrote a new blog post: Indie Spotlight Review: Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess 1 year, 3 months ago
Indie games are coming in thick and fast on the 360, and with so many “Free MS Points” offers being peddled by various publishing firms, gamers are able to take advantage of titles they may never have noticed before. Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess may not be a shoe-in for GOTY, but at just 240 MS [...] -
Simon Jones wrote a new blog post: Gamer Limit Review: FIFA 11 1 year, 3 months ago
For the past few years, EA has dominated the market of football games. EA Canada has been able to overcome the once-great superpower of Konami’s Pro Evo series, and has continued to unleash the finest in football simulation games. FIFA 11 was not expected to deliver a knockout punch like FIFA 09 and FIFA 10 were able to – [...] -

Yet another DS game to pass on. I suppose it’ll continue to gather dust for a few more months.
Thanks for the review! -
Simon Jones commented on the blog post 30% of gamers don’t pay to play
Interesting, but I suppose not at all surprising considering the way the videogame market is going these days.

Simon Jones commented on the blog post Gamer Limit Review: Skate 3
I love me some Skate, but the lack of changes you’ve spoken about makes me think I should probably just hang onto my copy of Skate 2 for a couple of years.

Simon Jones wrote a new blog post: What Are YOU Playing? Post-E3 hangover edition

Yes, yes, we all know that the US gang had fun at E3, but while they were relaxing at their lazy convention, we gamers were putting in the hard yards playing videogames.
So what exactly have you been playing this past week? If you [...] -
Simon Jones commented on the blog post Scattershot: Crackdown 2 Demo Impressions
I bought the first one from the bargain bin, played ten minutes and shelved. Might try the demo if I’m bored one day.

These two changes sound excellent. Hopefully we’ll find out soon enough whether they will include more international nations, and the Russian Premier League on the domestic front.
