I think we can accommodate that request. Were you involved in making the game or are you just a fan?

Before you do decide to review it Polluted, might I suggest you read this thread first.

Someone posted a short review of AQ before and the reaction from the members here was pretty bad. Your obviously looking for someone to give you a good rating, and given what people wrote that seems altogether unlikely.

Yeah, I saw that thread before. No reason we shouldn't be able to do up a proper review. Of course it doesn't necessarily have to be favorable if our reviewer doesn't like the game.

You and Bassium seem to know more about browser based games than I do. Don't suppose you feel like doing it?

The only problem I have is that he obviously wants us to give it a good rating, and from what I've seen so far, if I reviewed it I'd probably give it less than a 7. If you want me to review it I will, just that he should know I won't bump the score just because he asked me to. And if all he's going to do is moan about it, why should I waste my time.

Yup. We've been there before. It's a bit early to throw our integrity out the window. Maybe when devs start throwing millions our way. ;)

All we can really do is be as honest as possible.

If you're up for a review, though, that would be great. I'd have a hard time judging a browser based game since I never really play them.

For a game like that your looking at quite a lengthy review. I've got some free time next week (expect a lot of reviews being submitted then), so I'll check the game out, work out how long it will probably take to write and then post my notes here.

Hope that's OK

Isn't Colin the only making moneyz off the site? If my previous sentence is so then you should never lose your integrity.

Also I don't write reviews so even I won't review the game (At all.) or give it a good rating, I have a problem with being partial to all games I've never been known to say how bad a game is unless something went horribly wrong like a glitch that made the game lose my save progress.

...uh oh. me smells cellzenith all over again :)

in all seriousness, maybe i'm a moron, but if developers want good scores, perhaps they should make good games?

Exactly. The fact that the game has millions of users does not mean that it magically deserves a higher rating than any other game. We cannot suddenly start boosting the rating for some games and not others, or we risk making oursleves look unreliable.

If the game is crap, i will say so. If it is good, i will say so. If i say its bad and I get a load of spam asking me to change my opinion, i will still stick to my original score. And if the review gets the same comments as the CZ review did, then hey, i know i've done a good job.

Although, i am partial to a bribe every now and then........

Nothing is perfect. We're going to be criticized on one thing or another. Just stick to your beliefs/honesty and know how to defend your views as soon as possible.

I'll take whatever criticism comes. I'm happy to listen to other people's opinion as long as they listen to mine. If someone posts something saying 'Your review is crap, the game is great' when they blatantly haven't read the review then why should I listen to what they have to say.

We'll just have to wait and see.

I used to play this game, it was fun, but its single player and despite the mmorpg style it has basically no interaction whatsoever with other players.

It was fun for a while but i dont think it is quite as good as a 7.

Btw i still have my old account if anyone wants to have it... it has a lvl 61 with a guardian subscript. Add me on msn if you want it blue_leather_jeans@hotmail.com
