Best Mega Man game!

What's your favorite? I have to say Mega Man 3 is the best. It was the first game with Rush and the ability to slide, and the music of that one is also my favorite. I like 9 but it is a little on the hard side for me, personally.

Mega man 2, hands down.
It seems like the great debate is between 2 and 3, from what I've seen on the net. 2 is pretty sweet though

i've been flip-flopping between 2 and 3 for what seems like forever. 2 has the hands-down best music in the series, and the best boss weapon ever (the Metal Blades, of course), but I love 3 for it's superior game play and level design.

if forced to choose, I'd have to go with 3, but it's thatclose between the two of them.

don't get me wrong, much of 3's music is solid. magnet man and top man's themes stand out. but 2, i could listen to that whole soundtrack all day. pretty much all the tunes are ridiculously catchy.

Well, I played it when it first came out. I was probably 14 or so and it was the first time I played that mixed-genre in 3D. Plus I had always liked Megaman and RPGs. It was just a good blend for my taste in games.

I have a megaman shirt that says "Say hello to my little friend" and a 12" tall figure of him from battlenetwork. I think I'm going to set him on my desk to fend off people trying to steal my red swingline stapler.

Soccer wasn't bad for its time. I would like to see a modern remake with Super Baseball 2020 type-features. I never heard of a kart version but that must have been wild.

I gotta give this to MegaMan III, I loved that game, I used to play it for hours while my little brother held the start button on the second player controller to make megaman do some crazy stuff.
