After all the positive feedback my review of Fantastic Contraption got, I thought I'd start this thread to let people post their designs. If you haven't played the game, I suggest you do. Right now. Stop whatever you are doing.

Jesus dude. You really took the game to a level I never even attempted. I know you're not really into modern console games and stuff, but I bet you'd be patient enough to do some amazing things with LittleBigPlanet.

I think i've played FC for like 8/9 hours so far, so i've had a lot of practice.

I've never really been interested in console games at all, even when they first came out. I mean, i could easily spend 10 hours in one day just playing flash game (and i have in the past) whereas after 30 mins playing a console game i'm bored stiff.

If i ever have the chance i'll check that game out, but i wouldn't hold your breath.

I am the exact same, although I can go on huge Fire Emblem sprees.

Nemisis, have you checked out Armidillo Run? It's like Fantastic contraption, but better IMO.

I downloaded the demo a year or so ago. It was good but the limit to how much of something you could use each level really annoyed me, and i never downloaded the full version.

A friend of mine i know did download the full version, and when i asked him about it he said that the full version for AR is much better than for FC, but that the basic version for FC is much better. If i ever do decide to download one, i probabaly would go for AR, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Heh, I liked it with the limits. Gives a challenge.

I loved it, and I definitely will have to say it's a better value than Fantastic Contraption. There are tons of user made levels hosted on the main website, it's amazing.

My problem with limits is that you don't have the chance to make extravagent machines that fill up the world page but actually do very little. The fun behind physics games for me is not finding the simplest way to complete a level but to make the most extravagent machine you can imagine with hundreds of moving parts. In FC, this is perfectly possible, but in AR, you are limited to finding the way to complete the level with the smallest number of uses possible. For me, this is just not enjoyable.

This game was really easy to get the hang of after seeing a bunch of other people's contraptions, one of my buds username Parranoia helped me along in some levels mainly ones like Unpossible, and from seeing his contraptions I learned how to build catapults from there I started messing around with tanks. I'm not sure if it's just me but I love games like this I haven't been able to play any of the others like this.

This is one of the most interesting flash games I've played. It's like rube goldberg machines with a purpose :)

This game is really interesting, I have been able to force my way through each level, but for now "Back and Forth" seems to have me stumped. Strangely this only fuels my imagination and my desire to overcome the challenges.

I found a glitch that will let you put the shape you need to move any place on the map, some examples are posted below.

The Full-Up one was alot of fun to figure out how to beat it. The way you can do this to any level is by posting alot of water rods anywhere in the blue area, (Preferably the same point in the blue area, it's easier to erase.) and when there's enough (You'll know when it's enough because some will fall down and some will stay in the air. http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=4026865) And after that happens push the stop button and then you can drag the shape anywhere on the map.

I love this game whenever I'm not trying to prestige on a COD game or doing class work I'm playing this!
