The most amazing video game experiance I've ever had the pleasure of playing!!

I don't have much experience with old games, but I'd have to say Commander Keen. A game made of pure awesome.
EDIT: Welcome to the site ;)

Well, if you're talking really retro - for my money, you cannot beat Sinistar.

Ocarina of time if you are talking about that age of games, but by retro I though we were talking more about 8 bit kind of games like Commander Keen.
Anyway my vote goes for Cosmo!!! Back on DOS.
Pong, hands down. First ever game I played.

I'll have to go with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I just never seem to get tired of that game.

Without a doubt, Chrono Cross.
Tricky decision for me, but I'm going to go for Alexx The Kidd on the Sega Master System II.
That little guy sure could play Rock-Paper-Scissors.

Final Fantasy 7, followed closely by Final Fantasy 3. I'm speaking of the American versions since I never played the Japanese versions. Best damn plotlines I've ever played, and I'm man enough to admit that I cried when Aeris died... admit it, you all did too. And man... who COULDN'T hate Kefka! He's the only video-game villain that I ever truly hated with a passion!
So... yeah. I'm a FF fan. :)
I laughed when Aeris died.
I laughed when the vaguely-established woman in The Dark Knight died.
I laugh whenever the female characters in a plot die, simply because the main character is usually a gimp in love with her, so it's funny to see him get so screwed over.

Has to be Zelda: Link To The Past, 1st game i played and boy did i have hours of fun with that.
Also remember my dad comming back from work (he works nights) when i was about 7/8 with 'The Secret Of Mana'. It was about 5 in the morning, he walks in and say ' look what i got' i got real excited then he told me to go to bed and couldn't play it until after school the next day. The funny thing was tho he didn't tell me he was getting it and i had a dream about it and the next day there it was!!

I can't choose between Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII. Square is an amazing company and the music of Nobuo Uematsu is part of what made me so emotionally involved and immersed in the games. The plots were also great and RPGs are my favorite genre.

It's not retro but my favorite game of all time is Shadow of the Colossus.

Tough call between the original Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario 3. I'd have to go with the latter probably; over the years I've probably played through SMB3 at least 20 times (and that's beating every world, not using warp whistles).

Man, that's harsh :)
I would have to say SMB3 or Final Fantasy VIII (I know, it's not one of the favorites of the series, but it was my first FF game, and I love it).

Favourite game ... it would have to be a throw up between Pokemon Blue and possibly Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Mario and Pokemon where the games that got he hooked and I will continue to enjoy and play them.

Mario kart and Goldeneye for me :).
Mario Kart indeed made for some excellent multiplayer and offline play - a solid title indeed. I never really played Goldeneye but did Pefect Dark, and they were basically the same game just different theme, and if PD was anything to go by, they are both classic shooters.

Multiplayer-Call of Duty 4
Overall-Super Mario Bros.
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. I played that game to death and have so many memories with it. It was my all time favorite PS2 game ever. War of the Monsters and Star Wars Battlefront are close seconds.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
I'm sorry. I can't do it. I won't even try.
I mean, how the hell am I to choose one, single game out of gems like Freespace 2, Mechwarrior 3, Baldur's Gate II, Planescape Torment, Age of Empires 2, Rise of Nations, Shogun: Total War, Half Life, Starcraft, Red Alert 2, Civilization III, Homeworld, Homeworld 2, Xenogears, Suikoden II, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Yakuza 2, Project Pegasus, Fallout, Fallout 2, Starfleet Academy, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, Zelda: OoT, Zelda: MM, Rogue Squadron, Donkey Kong Country (SNES) and so many, many more?
I can't--so I won't.

Wow. What an impossible question. I'd really like to answer it, but I honestly can't come up with just one game. In all of my years playing video games (now over three decades), there have been too many that have had big impressions on me.
Here is a handful of games that I hold dear:
** Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (PS2)
** Super Spike V'Ball (NES)
** Final Fantasy IV (SNES)
** Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSX)
** Sonic Adventure (DC)
** Lords of Thunder (DUO)
** Streets of Rage 2 (GEN)
** NHL 09 (PS3)
** NBA Jam (ARC)
Now... if we wanted to talk about favorite console ever... that could be a fun (and surprising) discussion. As for favorite games, though, that could be a Top 50 list. Easy.

F-Zero. I remember getting it for Christmas, and remember thinking "this is one of the coolest games Ive ever played".
